Vascular Endothelial Growth Inhibitor (VEGI)
Blocking or inhibiting blood vessel growth (angiogenesis) remains a critical focal point for anticancer drug development. Vascular Endothelial Growth Inhibitor (VEGI; TNFSF-15) is a cytokine secreted from human endothelial cells and a potent negative regulator of angiogenesis that induces growth arrest and apoptosis in endothelial cells. We are developing VEGI as an anti-cancer drug candidate. Besides internal use, we are also providing highly active VEGI proteins to the research community.
